These Terms and Conditions ("Terms") govern the purchase and use of bee nucleus ("nuc") boxes and related products ("Products") sold by Built Right Nuc ("Company," "we," "us," or "our"). By placing an order through our website, email, phone, or any other method, you agree to be bound by these Terms.
1. Product Purpose and Use
Built Right Nuc boxes are designed exclusively for temporary housing and transport of honey bee colonies. They are not intended for permanent hive use or for purposes outside standard beekeeping practices.
The customer assumes full responsibility for proper use, handling, storage, and application of the Products.
2. Orders and Payment
All orders are subject to acceptance and availability. We reserve the right to refuse or cancel any order at our discretion.
Full payment is required prior to shipment or pickup unless otherwise agreed in writing.
3. Shipping, Pickup, and Transfer of Risk
3.1 Transfer of Responsibility
Ownership and risk of loss transfer to the customer once the Products are shipped or released for pickup.
Built Right Nuc is not responsible for damage, delays, or losses occurring during shipping or after pickup.
3.2 Shipping Delays
Shipping timelines are estimates only. We are not liable for delays caused by carriers, weather, supply chain disruptions, or other factors beyond our control.
4. Limited Warranty (Manufacturing Defects Only)
Built Right Nuc provides a limited 30-day warranty from the date of shipment or pickup, covering manufacturing defects only.
This warranty does not cover:

Normal wear and tear

Damage caused by misuse, improper handling, improper storage, or modification

Damage caused by bees, weather, moisture, transport, or environmental conditions

Structural stress due to overloading or improper stacking
If a manufacturing defect is confirmed, our sole obligation is, at our discretion:

Replacement of the defective Product, or
-
Refund of the purchase price for the defective Product.
No other warranties, express or implied, are provided.
5. Returns and Refunds
5.1 Eligibility for Returns
Returns are accepted under the following conditions:

Return request made within 30 days of shipment or pickup

Products must be unused, unassembled, and in original condition

Customer is responsible for return shipping costs
5.2 Non-Returnable Items
The following are not eligible for return:

Used or assembled Products

Damaged Products due to customer handling

Custom or special-order Products
5.3 Refund Processing
Approved refunds will be issued after inspection of returned Products. Original shipping fees are non-refundable.
6. Bulk and Custom Orders
Bulk orders and custom-made Products may not be canceled once production has started. Additional terms may apply and will be communicated at the time of order.
7. Limitation of Liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, Built Right Nuc shall not be liable for:

Loss of bees, queens, or colonies

Lost profits or business interruption

Indirect, incidental, or consequential damages

Damages arising from improper use or handling of the Products
In no event shall our total liability exceed the purchase price paid for the Product giving rise to the claim.
8. Intellectual Property
All product designs, branding, text, images, and materials are the property of Built Right Nuc and may not be copied or used without written permission.
9. Governing Law
These Terms shall be governed by and interpreted in accordance with the laws of the State of Washington, without regard to conflict-of-law principles.
10. Changes to Terms
Built Right Nuc reserves the right to modify these Terms at any time. Updated Terms will be posted on our website and will apply to future orders.
